Yesterday I finished a compilation. It was a bit of a challenge. But more or less I still have some good knowledge of ASPE.

Tonight I'm going to attempt to finish as many compilations as possible.

This is all for work mind you.

I had 3 jobs previously: Superintendent (hired someone), IT guy (delegated someone and provided permanent solutions), and now bookkeeper (hiring someone).

I've hired someone who works for Deloitte to do our taxes.

The work I've done at my brother's office is nothing short of magical. My computer skills are top notch. I've automated a lot of processes that you would normally have to do by hand. My typing speed is fairly fast. But it's always been fast. Going to do a typing test now just to show you how fast i do type:



I feel like I was going slow here. lol!

SO! I need to do more compilations. The faster I do that. The faster the taxes get done, the more training I can provided for the new bookkeeper. And yeah I will start studying for the CFE. I've already registered. I need to write Day 2 and 3... I 100,000% do not underestimate the challenges that I'll face ahead of me.

So I will do my ultimate best to successfully disconnect myself from my family business, so I can start showing the CFE how much of a bad ass I am. I say successfully because I could leave in 2 seconds, but to leave things better than you found them, in the words of bruce lee, "that my friend, ugh, is very hard to do"

So I've been SUPER busy the last few months. At one point I had 3 jobs lol...

Anyways I'm down to 2 jobs. Well 1 job really. And I'm going to get rid of my last job by the end of this week.

Today I need to:

1) Visit my dad's office and install a printer driver for one of his employee's computers. (DONE)

2) Do bookkeeping and keep track of time and costs. (NOT DONE)

3) Return an item I purchased, today is the last day to do that (it's a router that I purchased, I'll probably do a bit of research on how to clean plastic, so far I learned water and a microfibre cloth should do the trick) (DONE!)

4) Contact a BUNCH of of people for the bookkeeping job and then create a day for interviews. And go with the most capable person or persons for the job. (DONE... sort of)

5) I think I also have to buy a garbage can for our business and a pressure washer. (NOT DONE)

So there's quite a bit of stuff to do, but it's all very achievable in my mind. Let's do this!!! it's 3:55 AM right now. I absolutely must be focused and calm and I think I can achieve anything with this mind set. *FIST PUMP* going to eat a cucumber. Good night!
